Yup, the Democratic Party members were wearing them during the demonstration (and Martin Lee wore it backside front to make "8x8" stand out... ^_^
There's a link to a photo of them during the demonstration:

I browsed their website and it turned out that all their t-shirts were sold out! (a big clap for FONCEPT too! ^_^ )
I actually bought the black version from the DP on Sunday when they were fund-raising for their party. I just wanted to donate some money and didn't look carefully at the t-shirt, and when I got home I was impressed with the clever design. Saw the "FONCEPT" tab at the collar and started googling, and ended up being here... ^_^
Can't help buying the white version despite having the black one cause there could never be too much support for this meaningful event!
you're very welcome! (just back from finishing my payment... :o) )
Your design has got a lot of attention and even my aunts and uncles asked me if I knew what "h9b8" meant when they saw people wearing the t-shirt to demonstrate yesterday...
p.s. just out of curiosity, I saw the Democratic Party selling the same t-shirt in black to raise money for the Party and the event. Did you design that for them? :o)
Sandy/Code: Sorry for any hard feeling because of my lines. I am just simply want to make sure user understand this, without other implication...
It' s nonsense for me not to respect anyone on FONCEPT.
Anyway, thanks for your feedback. : )
Naevius: I don't really speak Cantonese, I learned a little bit while I was in the US. I learned it while I tried to understand what my Hong Kong or Cantonese friends say.
No matter which language we use to communicate, grammar is not important at all. What's most important is the message can get to whom you try to send it to.
It's like a melting pot in the US that people I know come from different cultures and they speak different language. We just try to understand each other and try our best to get our message across. Furthermore, everyone come from a different background, some have difficulties learning about others, some have difficulties learning about other ways of communication. However, All human beings are born equal. We should all respect other people. Everyone deserves the same respect.
Ps. In one way of communication, you need to take care of what was said on the table first, and then take care what was communicated underline. If it doesn't pass on the table, it won't pass underlining.

at first I thought "h9" means "89" cause "h" is the 8th letter of the alphabet... but then I couldn't decode "b8"... ^^b
great design and concept! I'm going to get one to support both the design and to support the event!
