What will I receive if my design is selected for printing?
If your submitted design is selected for printing, you will receive a bunch of prize from FONCEPT. Besides, you earn a reputation as your design will be promoted on FONCEPT.com.
Top 3 designs in terms of score: HKD2,000 Cash per design.
All selected designs (including top 3): 1 FONCEPT Free T-shirt Coupon, 5 FONCEPT 20% off coupons, and for each T-shirt sold online, you will get:

Can I submit more than one design for each contest?
Why not? You can submit a maximum of 5 designs to each contest. This is just to avoid having too many similar designs, and we hope that you can have a higher chance to win in different contests!
Do I own the copyright of the submitted designs?
We understand that copyright ownership is important to designers, so our terms allow and encourage artists to use the designs for any other purposes. The only limitation is that designs submitted within 90 days can only be used for non-commercial purposes. Please click here for more details. At the same time, FONCEPT.com reserves the right to use the submitted designs. You can choose to license your work under Creative Commons so as to grant more freedom to share and remix by others. Why can't I find my design after I submit it?
Your submitted design will be processed by FONCEPT Team within 24 hours and be published after approval. So please do not worry if you cannot see your design published instantly. Please read the requirements and reminders on the "submit works" page before submitting your design.
This also may be due to your inactivate account. Please check your email inbox and spam folder for the FONCEPT account activation email.
How will a T-shirt design be selected?
For every contest, designs with an average score higher than 2.6 and scored by over 200 members will be selected for printing. FONCEPT.com reserves the rights for final decision in case of any dispute. You can also use the sharing features on your design page e.g."blog", "facebook", and "email" to invite more friends to score your design.
How will artists be notified to receive their prizes?
Artists will be notified by email or phone when their designs are selected for printing.
I am not familiar with designing T-shirts. What can I do on FONCEPT?
The first thing to do, of course, is to register for free as a FONCEPT member! Once you become a member, you can upload your profile image and score all designs. You can also leave comments on every design's page to exchange feelings and ideas with artists and other members.
How can I score the T-shirt designs?
Please sign in to FONCEPT first, then click "score designs" on the upper panel. The page with all the designs in all ongoing contests will be displayed. Just click a design to enter its page, and score it in the "Score this design" panel (1 - poor ~ 5 - masterpiece). If you think that the design is very outstanding, you can add it into your wish list (please see the Shopping and Shipping FAQ for details).
Other than this, on the "score designs" page, you can choose in the "show me" panel which designs to be displayed, for example, designs of a particular contest, or designs you have not yet scored.
What effect or influence does my scoring have on the contests?
Your scoring is very important for every contest and design. In most FONCEPT contests, a design is required to be scored by at least 200 members and with an average score of 2.6 in order to be eligible for becoming a selected design - the top 10 designs with the highest score will become selected designs which will be printed and sold on FONCEPT Shop. In other words, if your favourite design has a high average score but is scored by less than 200 members, it cannot become a selected design. That's why your scoring matters much!
What is the "Comments" function?
We have the "comments" function on every design page. Just sign in to FONCEPT to freely leave comments about your feelings, suggestions, expectations for artists and compliments - we hope that FONCEPT can successfully become a platform for artists and the public to exchange ideas freely.
How will I know that my design or my comment has replies?
Please sign in to FONCEPT first, then click "account" in the upper panel, and then choose "Edit my profile". You can choose to receive an email notice when "there is new comment for your design(s)" and "there is new comment for the design(s) you commented".
Shopping and Shipping
What is "wish list"?
"Wish list" is a function that enables you to record the designs that you like. On every design's page, below the scoring panel there is an "Add to wish list" option. Simply opt for it and the design will be added to your wish list. If that design wins in the contest, we will notify you via email that you can visit FONCEPT Shop to buy your favourite T-shirt!
When will the winning T-shirt be available?
The printing technology required by every design is different. A selected T-shirt design will be put on FONCEPT Shop for sale when the production is ready. If the quality of the files of a design is good enough for printing, it will usually be available at FONCEPT shop within 1 week.
How can I make changes to the items in my Cart?
In the "cart" page, you can make changes by entering your desired quantity in the "Quantity" box for each item.
How can I pay for my purchase?
You can pay by MasterCard or Visa. As an alternative, you can also pay by bank transfer or Paypal. Please click here for details.
Can I place a phone or mail order?
Orders can only be placed online via FONCEPT Shop. Please be assured that our online check-out process is secure.
How much for T-shirts sold on FONCEPT SHOP?
Generally, we sell T-shirts at a flat rate - for T-shirts with one and two colours on single side: HKD 199，for T-shirts with more than 2 colours or double sides: HKD 240.
I am ordering FONCEPT T-shirts from overseas. How much do I have to pay for shipment?
You do not have to pay for any shipment fee. At FONCEPT, all product shipment is free. (Limited to the services of the Hong Kong Post Office; please find the list of countries here.)
FONCEPT Coupons
How can I use my FONCEPT T-shirt Coupons?
There are several kinds of coupons at FONCEPT, for example, Free T-shirt Coupons and 20% Off T-shirt Coupons. If you would like to use a coupon, you can first log in to FONCEPT.com and shop, and click "cart" when you would like to checkout, then type the Coupon Code in the blue "Use coupon" box. For Free T-shirt Coupons, the amount of one T-shirt will be deducted from the bill automatically (if there are T-shirts of different prices in the bill, the one with a higher price will be deducted automatically). For Discount Coupons, all the items in the same bill will be discounted.
Can I pass my Coupons to my friends?
Of course! You can choose the "Invite friends for the coupons" option in your account page and send the coupons to your friends by email.
How can I get FONCEPT Coupons?
Once your design wins in a FONCEPT Regular Contest, you will be awarded a FONCEPT Free T-shirt Coupon and 5 FONCEPT 20% off Coupons.
Is there any due date for FONCEPT Coupons?
No =) You can use your Coupons at any time.
