Suspension of Regular Contest and setting up a Design Sharing Platform

FONCEPT is now preparing for another project, therefore Regular Contest has been suspended. We are happy to see some designers loves to share their works with public via our platform. FONCEPT will serve as a design sharing platform, while designers can continue to upload their T-Shirt designs, and the works will be rated and commented by other FONCEPT users. We wish designers can continue to express their creativity freely on FONCEPT.

  1. Every design submitted to participate in the contest will be rated by FONCEPT members.
  2. We will select highly rated designs or interesting designs irregularly and they will be printed and sold at FONCEPT Shop.
  3. We encourage artists to submit works related to local culture, with the aim of preserving, recording, and expressing them.

All artists of the selected T-shirts design will receive 1 FONCEPT Free T-shirt Coupons and 5 FONCEPT 20% Off Coupons for each of their awarded design.

Before submission, please download the Design Template and follow the instruction. We also strongly recommend you to read thoroughly on the common decline reasons for submitted works

You need to provide the following items for each design submission:

  1. Thumbnail - Small icon to identify your work. It must be 150 x 150 pixels and under 500KB.
  2. Poster - Others will score and comment your design based on it. It must be 500 pixels width and under 2MB. You have to show the design image and it's position on the T-Shirt clearly:
    • It must be 500 pixels in width and under 2MB.
    • Please include t-shirt on the poster, and show clearly the size and location of the image on t-shirt.
    • The size of image on T-shirt should not exceed the printable area (42cm X 26cm), and the T-shirt image size can be regarded as (74cm X 58cm), please adjust the dimensions of your design accordingly. You may refer to product image on FONCEPT Shop for more concrete guidance on the dimension requirements.
    • Your design can include images printed on any parts of the T-shirt EXCEPT the sleeves, with at least 2cm distance from the T-shirt's fringes.
    • Each poster can display one design only, which can apply to T-shirts of 3 different colours at most. Accordingly, colour of the design can be adjusted to match with the colour of T-shirts.
  3. High Resolution Design Image - Please compress all your images, AI/PSD files to a zip file which is under 50MB.
    • It will be used to print once your design being approved.
    • Image must be 400ppi resolution with an actual size small than 42cmX26cm.
    • Background should be transparent.
  4. Name of the design.
  5. About your design - Please write a short paragraph to illustrate your ideas and thoughts that you wish to express through the design.

Community will score the design during the contest, we encourage you to exchange idea with others, and explain your design in "About your design".

Points for attention

  1. Before you submit your design, we recommend you read thoroughly on the common decline reasons for submitted works.
  2. Designs must be generated by graphic software. (e.g. Photoshop, A.I.)
  3. We always want to make sure that the design can be mass produced with a high quality. You should only use no more than 5 colours for each design.
  4. You should use the color template in Submission Kit provided by FONCEPT when you are creating your design. Submitted designs will be printed according to the range of colours we have provided. But there is only black and white available as base colours of female size T-shirt. (Note that there maybe slight difference between the T-shirt color template and the color of manufactured T-shirt.)
  5. Please do not submit designs of great resemblance. We will treat them as repeated submission.
  6. Your submitted design will be processed by FONCEPT Team within 2 working days and then be published. So please do not worry if you cannot see your design published instantly.
