Background and Aim
Serious water pollution is poisoning the beautiful scenes of Yellow River, Yangtze River and Pearl River. Discharge of toxic chemicals from factories is the major source of water pollution in China. Given the large quantity of discharge and width of area being affected, toxic chemicals are complicated and hard to purify and handle.
WHO survey shows that 80% of all diseases are caused by drinking polluted water. Unclean water is causing 1.2 billion people to from various diseases and 300 million people are drinking polluted water in China everyday.
Greenpeace is fighting industrial water pollution in China and demands industries to stop releasing toxic chemicals to water. Your design is going to inspire people to act against the problem! The winning design is going to be represented in Greenpeace water-related activities in the coming 3 years!
